The Stokes hero made him the first ever England captain, fifth in Test history, winning a century, and carrying five wickets in the same match. It’s a milestone that speaks of his versatility and the amount of impact he has on the game.

Garry Sobers (West Indies) vs Leeds, England – 1966

Perhaps one of the best all-arounds of all time, Thorber marked Leeds with a majestic 174 balls of 260 balls. He then rattled the English batting with 5/41 numbers in the first inning, then picked three more, leading the West Indies to an inclusive inning victory.

Mushtaq Mohammad (Pakistan) vs West Indies, Port of Spain – 1977

Musutac’s brilliance with both the bat and the ball was fully exhibited in a 1977 test in Port of Spain. After grabbing a gritty 121 in the first innings and grabbed 5/28, he added valuable 56 and 3 wickets in two innings, leading Pakistan to 266 wins.

Imran Khan (Pakistan) vs India, Faisalabad – 1983

Imran’s domination over Faisalabad’s arch rival India was nothing but legendary. He scored 117 from 121 deliveries in the first innings after claiming 6/98 on the ball. He concluded the match with another Fifer in two innings, scripting a 10-wicket victory in Pakistan.
