Former CIA director John Brennan told MSNBC on Wednesday that he was “ignorant” about what he was The FBI may be investigating him This comes after Fox News Digital reported that Trump Russia’s conspiracy probe could be charged with alleged misconduct.

An investigation into former FBI director James Comey is also said to be ongoing.
Brennan told MSNBC’s Nicole Wallace in the “Deadline: The White House” that he had already testified before several Congressional committees about his decision on the investigation and was in his job.

“I think the people who actually worked on this in terms of trying to gather intelligence reports before the election and the people who put together the intelligence reports assessments really showed the best of what the Intelligence Reports community and the CIA are doing,” Brennan said. “Again, I’m ignorant of exactly what it is that they’re investigating me.”
He added that he had not been contacted by the DOJ about the issue.
“So I don’t know if there’s any validity to that,” Brennan said. “If there is, it was a referral. If there is a survey, perhaps there is a survey, people will be asked. I will be asked about it.
Brennan’s investigation comes after Ratcliffe was declassified last week “Lessons learned” review Creation of the Intelligence Community Assessment (ICA) for 2017. The 2017 ICA alleged that Russia was trying to influence the 2016 presidential election. However, the review found that the ICA creation process has been rushing with “procedural anomalies” and that officials deflect from intelligence reporting standards.

It also found that “the decision to include Steele Dejar, an anti-Trump document that is now discredited as normal,” “opposes basic trade principles and ultimately undermines the credibility of important decisions.”
Declassified records as part of that review Brennan revealed what he did, In fact, I’ll push it to include related documents in the 2017 ICA. However, Brennan testified to the House Judiciary Committee in May 2023, but testified that he did not believe that the relevant documents should be included in the Intelligence Report product.
