Former Yankees star Alex Alex Rodriguez scores a big score on NBA team purchases

Sale of NBA Minnesota Timberwolves And WNBA’s Minnesota Links for the group led by former MLB star Alex Rodriguez and e-commerce entrepreneur Mark Roar have received unanimous approval from the NBA board, the league announced Tuesday.
Rodriguez and Roa are familiar with the Timberwolves as they previously acquired minority shareholders in the NBA franchise. The sale is estimated to close in the next few days with an estimated $1.5 billion. ESPN reported.

The complicated process of transferring control over the basketball franchise to Rodriguez and Roa began almost four years ago.
Billionaire and politician Glenn Taylor bought the Timberwolves in 1994.

The introductory secretary press conference for Rodriguez and Roa is scheduled to take place in Las Vegas in July. This is the NBA Summer League website. Lore is expected to function as the primary governor for T’Wolves, but the former is New York Yankees Star is set to become the alternative governor of the franchise.

“The NBA Governor’s Committee unanimously approved the sale of WNBA’s Minnesota Links control from the Minnesota Timberwolves and Glen Taylor to Mark Roa and Alex Rodriguez.” The NBA wrote in a statement It was released on Tuesday.
