The mission is “the first human polar orbital spaceflight,” with the exception of Apollo’s lunar mission, saying that Earth’s poles are “completely invisible to other astronauts in orbit.”
Chun detailed the “busy day” pre-release preparations on X Post on Sunday, talking about “dryless rehearsals,” briefings and other activities.
According to the SpaceX website, the four FRAM2 astronauts will “conduct 22 research studies designed to enhance long-term space exploration and human health capabilities.”
