Frank opens Tottenham’s “scale” after an impressive preseason victory over Arsenal

Tottenham head coach Thomas has admitted that he finally understands the size of his new club after beating Arsenal in the pre-season North London Derby.

The Spurs have won the first ever conflict between two non-UK rivals.

It was a significantly improved performance for Frank’s man who was attracted to both Wycombe and Luton last weekend.

And the experience of playing against top-level opposition in the Super Cup with Champions League winner Paris Saint-Germain-on-the-Horizon is invaluable to the former Brentford boss.

After the match in Hong Kong, he said:

“Fans were waiting for us every day, every morning and evening, and for fans who were holding training and taking part in the game.

“I have realized many times how big the club’s spurt is and how important it is.”

Heung-Min Son Exit?

Frank was also quized by the captain of the season.

He added:

“I do that because I know I need to make a decision before the first official game against PSG in the Super Cup. It’s no surprise that both Romero and his son are captains.

Praise for Mohammed

The match in Hong Kong was another good opportunity to see fans sign Mohamed Kudos in the summer, where he competed against the club’s most intense rivals.

“He really feels good about Kudus today. His hold-up play, how he holds the ball in tricky situations,” Frank said.

“His one-on-one skills, his creative opportunities for the team were top class. Plus, he worked very hard and I think he was always nervous and he recovered from the set piece when he got the ball.

“That’s how he can help his team so much. He excites many fans with his offensive behavior and helps his team defensively.”
