Guardiola says City needs to play “the perfect game” with the Bernabeu
Pep Guardiola says Manchester City will need to play an almost “perfect game” to overturn a one-goal deficit for Real Madrid in the Champions League knockout playoffs.
After scoring two late goals at Etihad, the City Trail was 3-2 and 3-2 from Game 1, and when he returned to the soil of his house for Game 2, he commanded a tie with Guardiola’s side. It’s there.
Guardiola already claims that the city has a “less than 1%” chance to reach the final 16 against the 15 winners.
“We have to make it a near perfect game,” he said. “We have to attack. We have to score a goal. This is the idea.”
Guardiola is determined that the city will not wonder or regret the Bernabeu. We have to be ourselves. It takes incredible courage and you have to play to win.
“We still have the chance to lose, but we need to show that courage and be ourselves. We need to play very well, especially after the results, after being taken in the first leg. .”
Pep beats 94 minutes, but we are always a machine every 3 days and no one does what we did in the UK… maybe we’re not a solid team. He’s the best player in the world…I was a coach in 13/14…and… pic.twitter.com/51y886xqy2

Pep’s Bernabeu is back
The city endured a complex experience during its trip to the Bernabeu when it suffered a dramatic defeat in 2022 with the 2020 coronavirus-affected tie.
They then bored those demons a year later and won 5-1 in the tally after a draw 1-1 over the Bernabeu to win the treble.
“There are some incredible memories here, sometimes good, sometimes not so good,” added Guardiola, who managed Barcelona multiple times.
“We know at this stage. There’s pressure at this stadium. But we get it in Milan, Barcelona, Anfield. You have to suffer in these places, but reduce those moments. It needs to be.”
Ancelotti will put a 1% bill on Pep into a recycle bin
Real Manager has a rubbing suggestion that there is a 1% chance that City will reach the last 16. I don’t think there’s a 99% chance.
“We have a small advantage, we have to take advantage of that.”
Guardiola replied: “He didn’t believe me. I always say what I think, and this time you don’t believe me.”
