Haney’s unfocused battle: Garcia’s memory, Ramirez’s risk
Devin Haney doesn’t seem to be 100% mentally focused on the task in his upcoming battle with Jose Ramirez on May 2nd. In X, Haney (31-0, 15 Kos) mentioned steroids last year for his loss to Ryan Garcia.
Haney’s victims don’t work with fans who view him as someone who can’t accept his loss. They see him as a spoiled billionaire and are about to create a story of the victim from his battle with Kingley ten months ago. If Haney admits that he wasn’t good enough and could not handle Garcia’s left hook force, it would play better.
Devin is still edging the events of that battle suggests he cannot accept the loss to Ryan. The memories of developing that night are bothering him.
Mental focus?
“I know what all of the sudden yall b **** a **** steroids are now,” Devin Haney said. xinforming some of the social media that he still can’t accept his losses to Ryan Garcia.
There is no development strategy working to undermine Ryan Garcia’s victory over him. Fans saw Ryan destroy Haney and raise steroids to deflect what happened that night.
Haney will need to focus on his battle with Jose Ramirez (29-2, 18 Kos) on May 2nd. Ramirez can do exactly what Garcia did, but it makes it worse. If he hurts him, he will end Haney.
Loser’s Bracket
If Devin gets whipped to the former WBC and WBO Light Welterweight Champion, he can forget about the big-money rematch. He’s probably going to end up Loser’s Bracket Fight against Rolando ‘Rolly’ Romero, Arnold Barboza Jr., or Teofimo Lopez.
If he’s dealing with one of those in the loser’s bracket, it’ll be a nightmare for Haney as they’ll be desperate to win his chin and target him. If Haney matches Teofimo, it could be Dev’s career forgetting.
