The sequel to Adam Sandler is 30 years old, marking the revival of a hockey fan who was obsessed with one of his most iconic characters, Happy Gilmore, the Boston Bruins, turning his average slap shot into a professional golf career.
Happy Gilmore 2 is scheduled to premiere on Netflix on July 25th, with most of the cast of the original film. Sandler was joined by Julie Bowen, Christopher MacDonald, Dennis Dugan and Ben Stiller. (Sadly, some members of the original 1996 cast, including Bob Barker and Carl Weathers, have passed away, but new characters played by Bud Bunny, Kim Whitley and Benny Safdy will debut in sequels.) With so many hype around the new release, fans have portrayed Netflix ased fast in netflix before, before Netflix. A reboot is announced – that’s because Happy Gilmore will no longer be appearing on Netflix on August 1st.
You can still rent a happy Gilmore, Prime Video and Apple TVat least not for the time being. This could result in a damper in planning the double feature of Happy Gilmore.
