Actor Harrison Ford spoke about President Donald Trump’s second term in an interview released Wednesday.
“In politics and life, you’re not always getting what you want, but you get what you get and you’re not upset. They teach you that in kindergarten, but they teach you to fight for what you think is right.” He told Variety.
“Now, we’re breaking down like this, so we’re struggling to find commonality. But when we look at the economy, we see where commonality is, and it always makes sense where it is.
Ford supported the original In 2024, Vice President Kamala Harris recorded video approval for the former Vice President.

Ford said the country is now a “healthy swing to the right,” but added that it would look back in the opposite way.
When asked by Variety where to go from here, Ford replied, “You’re asking people who aren’t qualified, so I don’t have the answer.”
In Harris’ Ford campaign video, he said, “The truth is this. Kamala Harris will defend your right to oppose her about policies and ideas.”
Harris has won many celebrities Supporters including George Clooney; Cardi B, Jamie Lee Curtis, and TV producer Shonda Rhimes.

Variety asked Ford how he felt about making Harris’ videos.
“Fine,” he replied.
He also spoke to Variety about his career and was asked if he would retire.
