Has Honey been physically overmatched by Norman Jr.? Press conference reveals contradictions of power f

Devin Haney chose to close out Brian Norman Jr. today to promote the November 22nd fight in Riyadh during a showdown at a press conference held in New York. During the showdown, Devin (32-0, 15 Kos) shut his mouth towards him with an ominous smile on his face, facing WBO Welterweight Champion Norman Jr.

Physical Inconsistencies: Honey, Norman

Norman Jr. (28-0, 22 Kos) finally got bored of hearing his story of Haney Burke, and he gives him a push to drive him out of personal space. Haney responded by thrustling all his might to Brian Jr. and sending him back two feet.

Interestingly, even if Devin put the biggest power on his thrust, he could barely move Norman Jr. What this means is that Haney is physically overmatched by Brian Jr.

Norman Jr. can’t be blamed for starting a minor argument. Devin was so close that he was talking about a mile of confusion per minute.

Thankfully, Devin’s bodyguard didn’t appear out of nowhere and didn’t grab Norman Jr. in his shirt, just like the two were having a heated conversation in the hallway yesterday. If the man had jumped over Norman again like he did yesterday, it would have been icing on the cake.

Today’s press conference continues with Haney playing the tough guy, acting like a murderer, with a Jerry-esque fighting style, not a finesse-level fighter. Haney employs a stage persona and appears to be acting like he isn’t.

Bill Haney: The Stage is missing

Usually, his father, Bill, talks about all the garbage for him, as he does it much better. I saw the Bill in an audience far from the stage. He probably wasn’t happy that he wasn’t on stage to tell Devin’s story.

The tough guy acts that Haney is doing will be flat if destroyed by Norman Jr. on November 22nd.
