Exclusive: The chair of the House Intelligence Email Committee has urged Americans across the country to practice “higher degrees of vigilance and situational awareness” as concerns about the possible US terrorist threat to the situation in the Middle East.

In the meantime, Crawford said he and the Intelligence News Committee were seeking more information from federal officials.

“Absolutely, we’ve been engaging with the intelligence community and gaining better insight into what’s going on and updating the information in real time,” he said.
