Hulk Hogan’s son shares emotional tribute after icon’s death

Hulk HoganThe son wrote his thoughts after the death of his father, a wrestling icon called his “best friend” and “hero.”

Over the years, Nick Hogan has posted 20 photo carousels on his own and his father’s Instagram and wrote emotional captions to accompany them.

Hogan, whose real name is Terry Borea, passed away Thursday after potential cardiac arrest.

“This was overwhelming and extremely difficult.” Hogan wrote In a homage to his father. “It was incredibly comforting to hear so many kinds of words and stories about my father’s life, interactions with everyone, experiences. My father is the most incredible person I have ever known and will always be my hero.

“I’ve spent a lot of time with him the past few years since I went back to Florida and approached him. I’m so grateful for those memories. They are the best moments of my life.

“Thank you for being the best dad in the world and for being my best friend. I love you so much, I will miss you forever.”

Nick, the daughter of “Hulxter” and his ex-wife Linda, shared his daughter Brooke. Hulk and Linda Hogan filed for divorce in 2007.

Before the divorce, the family was featured on the hit VH1 reality show “Hogan Knose Best,” which aired from 2005 to 2007.

Nick Hogan’s wife, Tana Lee, also paid tribute to her stepfather after his death. To honor him, we showed them together on her wedding day in January, among other Instagram stories on her page.

A former wrestling colleague, celebrities, family, friends and more remembered a bigger than life-like personality that glowed inside and outside the ring, so tributes to Hogan were poured from everything.

“WWE is saddened by learning WWE Hall of Fame Hulk Hogan has passed away,” the company wrote Thursday to confirm the news of his death.

“WWE expresses sadness to Hogan’s family, friends and fans.”
