“I think GG had his style, I…”: KKR mentor Dwayne Bravo with the help of Gautam Gambhir ahead of IPL 2025

Despite the differences, Bravo recognized the importance of learning from Gambil’s achievements. He revealed that he sent several messages to Gambil to advise and understand the factors that contributed to KKR’s success last season.
“I think it would be a disdain for me to not try to find some of the good things he did last season.” Bravo said he emphasized his respect for Gambil’s contribution to the team. But Bravo highlighted his own experience and the value he brings to the role.

KKR team dynamics and challenges
KKR is facing the challenge of defending the title without a key player from the previous season. Despite these losses, Bravo expressed confidence in his remaining core team. “Unfortunately, we lost some players. But this is where the team’s core is.” He said he emphasized the importance of maintaining continuity and stability within the team.
