Tottenham defender Christian Romero wants to play in LaLiga but hopes to win the Europa League this season.
The 26-year-old Argentina International has been a key figure for the Spurs since signing from Atalanta in 2021.
He endured an injured hit season, playing only 23 times and was traded at halftime. Defeated by Nottingham Forest on monday.
A recent report in Spain has linked the World Cup winner with the transition to Atletico Madrid.

“I’ll see after the championship is over. The truth is, I haven’t spoken to my agents yet, but I’m open to everything. My goal is to always grow and go to a new place.
“More than anything, I try to take one day at a time, two months left until the end of the season, and I always think about the best performances.
“We are in the semi-finals of the Europa League. This is an important step for the club and we haven’t reached this stage in many years. We want to win.”
After the game, manager Ange Postecoglou revealed his decision to withdraw Romero and centre-back partner Micky Van de Ven at halftime Monday, explaining why it’s important for DUO to start.
He added:
“Both of them have them in a really good physical place and I just want to keep them ticking, I didn’t feel like I had to play more than 45 minutes today.
