Ice arrest suspected members of Cuba’s Ministry of Home Affairs
The man was arrested by an agent in the US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE). Suspects from Cuba’s province They are illegally in the US inside.
Daniel Morejon Garcia, a 57-year-old Cuban citizen, has been arrested, according to a news release from ICE. His house in Miami and was taken into custody by the ICE, the FBI and the US Customs and Border Patrol.
Officials said the investigation centered around fraudulent claims he allegedly made when he entered the country.
During the investigation, authorities said law enforcement agents had obtained official Cuban government documents and “reliable source information.” He did not disclose his affiliation.

“Morejon Garcia did not disclose his membership in the Cuban Communist Party,” HSI Miami wrote in a post, showing pictures of Morejon Garcia’s arrest in X.
According to ICE officials, Morejon Garcia is also said to be an agent of the Cuban Ministry of Interior.
Additionally, authorities said the investigation revealed that the investigation was found in a survey that was said to have served as president of the National Defense Council in Cuba’s Artemisa region and was a member of the Quick Response Brigade.
“These groups consisting of civilians trained and organized by the government are designed to support authorities during incidents of social unrest, protest or obstruction,” Ice’s statement read.

Authorities also believe Moreyon Garcia was revitalized by the Cuban government during the island-wide protest on July 11, 2021.
“In that role, there was evidence that Morejon Garcia had assaulted the protesters as part of his duties,” the statement continued.
Morejon Garcia remains in ice custody as it awaits removal from the US, officials said.

In a letter obtained by Fox News Digital, Gimenez shared with NOEM about the “the existence of agents of the murderous Castro regime and the Cuban Communist Party currently resident in the United States.”
Guimenes represents the closest council districts to Cuba in Miami-Dade and Monroe counties.
