In the case of the missing girl Suddiksha Konanki, a witness friend says he is supported

Important Witness in the event of a Missing University of Pittsburgh Student Sudiksha Konanki is supported by his community, according to a statement released by the Friends family on Sunday evening.

Authorities say Conanki, a 20-year-old Virginia resident, was last seen walking on the beach outside the RIU Republica resort in Punta Cana, the Dominican Republic, early March 6th.

The only witness of Iowa’s 22-year-old Joshua Libe has been questioned by authorities from various agencies as they are seeking answers to Conanki’s loss. He was the last person I saw with Conanki while staying at the resort with a friend for spring break.

The Friends of the Riibe family has issued a statement confirming their support for university students. Human investigation is missing. He is not named a suspect, nor is he accused of crime.

“The Rock Rapids community is standing behind and supporting Joshua Libe and his family,” said a statement that the Lyon County Sheriff’s office released on behalf of the Libe family. “The Liber family moved to town in 2015 and operates at various schools and community events and organizations. They are well known and loved.”

“Josh has unwavering dedication to his faith and genuine kindness to others,” the statement continued. “He illustrates the value of compassion, respect and integrity that is fundamental to our church and our community.”

Friends who wrote the statement urged the public to respect the privacy of the Liberian family “in this difficult time of uncertainty.”

“While Josh is focusing on efforts to help find Sudikesha Conanki, his family at home provides support to loved ones in the Dominican Republic. Please help us respect those priorities,” the statement concluded.
