During the second ODI between India and England at Barabati Stadium in Kattak, Virat Kohli and Kevin Petersen It was seen in animated conversations and sparked curiosity and speculation among fans and commentators.

The chatter between the Indian star and the former England captain became a prominent sideshow during the series.

The two were observed to have conversations on multiple occasions during the 50 Over Series. Previously in Nagpur, Kohli showed Petersen an injured knee, which shut him out of the first ODI. They then shared bright moments that led to laughter. On Sunday (February 9th), as Kohli guarded the fields near the boundary, he laughed and joking with Petersen on the sidelines.

The nature of these exchanges has encouraged speculation on the internet. Some speculated that Kohli might be seeking information on London real estate, particularly property prices, given his frequent stay in the city since his son’s birth.

Instead, Petersen hinted that the argument with Kohli was centered around golf. The cricketer-turned commentator suggested that he encouraged Kohli to take the sport. “You’re not that wrong there, you know. I told him (Koeli, you have to start playing golf. What a great game.” KP said Suresh Reinapredicted almost accurately the conversations that took place near the boundary.

The interaction between Kohli and Pietersen secured a 2-0 series lead and came against the backdrop of India’s four-wicket victory over England at Cutterc. Kohli, who returned to the Indian ODI team almost a year later, scored five runs from eight balls.

The final ODI of the 3-match series will take place on February 12th at Narendra Modi Stadium in Ahmedabad.
