Israel announces humanitarian airdrops in Gaza to warn against starvation

Israeli Defense Forces (IDF) said it will resume aid to Gaza on Saturday night, challenging the cautious starvation claims as the hunger crisis escalates amid the ongoing campaign against Hamas.

The IDF said in a statement on Saturday that airdrop operations will be carried out in conjunction. International Aid Organizationscoordination of Israeli territory and government activities in the Israeli Air Force.

“Airdrop will be provided by international organizations with aid of seven pallets, including flour, sugar and canned food,” the IDF said in a statement.

“The IDF is ready to implement humanitarian moratoriums in densely populated areas and will continue to operate to dismantle terrorist infrastructure and eliminate terrorists in the field of activity,” the IDF said. “This week alone, more than 250 aid trucks have been dropped and hundreds have been joined at intersections collected by the UN and international organizations.”

Israel said that around 600 truck aid has also been distributed by the United Nations and other international organizations.

Israel has also linked its power lines to the desalinated plants of Gaza.
