“It’s like playing FIFA” – Jhon Duran enjoys a new partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo
John Duran struggled to hold back his joy after scoring twice with Cristiano Ronaldo on Al Nasr’s debut yesterday.
The Colombian striker joined the Riyadh Club at the end of January for £65 million from Aston Villa, earning an impressive brace in the 3-0 defeat of his new club Al Faya.
Ronaldo also rode the scoresheet with his notable career goal 924 to hold the perfect night for Stefano Pioli’s subordinate.
Asked about playing with Portuguese superstars, Duran said: Celebrating our goal with Cristiano Ronaldo! ”
The breakthrough came in the 22nd minute when Duran found space in the center of the box and slotted a shot of his left foot in the lower right corner of his left foot, placing Al Nasr first.

Ronaldo inevitably gets his goal
Ronaldo was lively throughout the half, approaching 31 minutes after being set up by Sadio Manet, but his shot missed the target.
The second half followed a similar pattern, with Al-Nassr making a decision to play and creating many opportunities. Al Faya’s defense was under constant pressure, with Duran doubled the hosts’ lead in 72 minutes and converted from close range after a fun cross from the mane.
Just two minutes later, Ronaldo scored a goal and finished a quick counter attack with a right foot shot in the lower right corner.

What’s next for the informal Al-Nassr?
The victory was Al-Nassr’s fifth consecutive in all competitions and is now third in the professional league.
Next is a trip to Al Ali, who ranked 5th on Thursday.
