Jermall Charlo responds to factory callouts with “I’ll give you a plant”

Caleb Plant called on Jamal Charo on Instagram today to tell him he was interested in “rock” to calm the beef. Jamal fell into an argument in July 2023, when the plant slapped him with his left hand. The two never resolved the difference, and have been going on for two years since the slap.

If Canelo chooses to fight Bruno Sulas, Jamal is free to fight plants as long as he can take the game seriously. Surace is another option that Mike Coppinger leaked for Canelo on May 4th at Riyadh. The only advantage of Canelo fighting Canelo over Jamal is that he is undefeated, young at 26, and has a victory that knocked out Jaime Manguia. In contrast, Jermall is 34 years old and hasn’t fought since 2023 and has only been one action since 2021.

The former IBF Super Middleweight Champion Factory (23-2, 14 KO) needs an opponent after an impressive 9th round knockout victory over Trevor McCanby in Las Vegas on September 14th last year. It was the Plant’s first battle since his defeat to David Benavidez in 2023.
