JetBlue cuts flights and costs will be reduced as consumer demand continues to weaken

Despite changes to cost-cutting, Geraghty said the company is still investing in certain areas of its operations, including frontline crew compensation reviews, Merit’s increase in support centres, and programs like JetBlue Scholars. The company said it will still be hired for its major frontline role and strategic support centre positions.
