Joa Felix hopes Cristiano Ronaldo’s link-up will rekindle a sluggish career
Joao Felix has completed its migration to Al-Nassr. This is the latest transfer of the forward’s glove trotting career.
Felix has signed a two-year contract to play alongside Cristiano Ronaldo and Sadio Manet. The Saudi Arabian side has paid Chelsea the first 30 million euros.
“I’m here to spread joy,” Felix said in his presentation. “Let’s win together.”
It’s another amazing business by Felix’s agent Jorge Mendes, and the 25-year-old continues to show signs that fulfill the possibilities he has shown as a teenager.
Teen Kick: Amazing Felix had the world at his feet
Felix, who exploded into the Benfica scene and scored 20 goals in 43 games of his debut season, was considered the world’s most exciting young player.
His profile convinced Atletico Madrid to fly around £113 million in 2019, taking him to La Liga, the third highest transfer fee in history.
An uneasy relationship with Atleti boss Diego Simeone, the infamous taskmaster, was ultimately loaned to Chelsea in January 2023, as he struggled with form and fitness, and for the rest of the season.
A subsequent loan switch to Barcelona made him play again with Fit and Start. The cash-bound Catalan side considered making the transaction permanent, but instead became suitable for Daniormo.
Felix was eventually sold to Chelsea by Atleti, and Conor Gallagher moved in the opposite direction in a deal likely linked to the PSR requirements, with the Portuguese valued at £45 million.
He signed a seven-year contract at Stamford Bridge, but within six months he reappeared on his trip. This time we will lend it to AC Milan.
Rossoneri’s three goals in 21 games isn’t enough to stay in Sanshiro, and he starts a new chapter in the Middle East.
Agent Mendelevichsch is critical of Felix and Mendes’ roles in careers
FIFA licensed agent Jen Mendelewitsch has little sympathy and believes that agreeing to relocate to Saudi Arabia confirms that he is no longer interested in becoming an elite footballer, but that’s another downward move.
Mendele Wish, who was not impressed by Mendes’ role in Felix’s career, told RMC Sports:
“It’s sad when you know his potential, but he’s an example of what you don’t do when you’re a potential young player.
“We can ask every single question we can. It’s really everyone’s fault. In other words, the player has decided to indulge in projects he hates. I’m trying to defend him a bit, but he tried to lighten himself in Atletico Madrid, Chelsea, Milan, he tried to lighten himself in Barcelona. He had a good time with Zabi.
“Some people talk about football mercenaries, others talk about business casualties. In both cases, he is the perfect example of a trap that many talented young players can fall into. There were rumours that he would return to Benfica.
