Joao Felix, who wants to extend his stay at AC Milan, has been “pushed hard” for a loan move from Chelsea
Joao Felix said he “pushed hard” to join AC Milan on loan from Chelsea, revealing he wants to be with the Serie A Giants this summer.
Portugal International secured a switch to Milan at the transfer deadline and launched their first serie with Emporio before scoring against Roma in their HUS debut at Coppa Italia.
Felix only joined Chelsea from Atletico Madrid last summer, but struggled with match times under Enzo Maresca.
And the 25-year-old said he already wanted to make his move permanent, as he had already felt love from his supporters since he was heading to Italy.
In his official announcement, Felix said: “For now, I’m lending it until June, so let’s see how it goes. At the moment, I’m really enjoying everything: the clubs, the people, the facilities.
“I have been very welcome and most importantly, I feel good here.
“And then, things can change in football, but if there’s a chance that you’re going to stay in Milan, I’d like to see it.”
“I pushed hard to get here, the Portuguese added.
“I already knew (Sergio) conceco. His passion is contagious, and winning is essential.
“Kaka has always been my idol. I looked at myself in him and tried to imitate him.”

With his positive start in Milan, Felix added: “We got two victories, I played for Sansilo and had the opportunity to score Milan.
“I knew the greatness of this club. Milan is huge. From the outside you can see it’s a very big club. When you’re inside, you’ll be one of the biggest clubs in Europe You realize you’re in one.
“I already knew the coach and played against him and followed him.
“I told him what I expected: to play in my role. He never told me whether I would play a lot or a little, but my I never played in a role, and that’s what convinced me to come to Milan.”
Maresca: Don’t miss Felix
Chelsea boss Maresca doesn’t seem to be in the way Felix would do if he wanted to leave Stamford Bridge forever, and the Italians suggest that they have enough quality for their team. I’m doing it.
He said: “We don’t think we miss Joan. Joao is happy there, Joao is happy there.
“Two strikers were injured on the deadline, and it’s hard to think about. Nico (Jackson) can get back soon.
“I sometimes think that to understand how important a player is, you need to play some games without a player. He’s always very good, and his (Jackson) press is, He’s always a threat at the ball.”
