John Stewart blows up Israel’s current policy on Gaza on Monday with “The Daily Show,” calling its actions “self-revealed inhumane and horrifying.”

“I feel like I’m a crazy person. I feel like I’m looking at something very self-evident, inhuman and terrifying,” he added.

Stewart argued that the ongoing conflict is not only moral hazard, but also dangerous to the existence of Israel itself.

“And will you say I have to shut up because I am calling out and putting the Jewish state at risk? I will say the opposite,” he said. “I think they put the potential of a surviving Jewish nation at greater risk with this type of action.”

“If they want to define anti-Semiticism, then they probably have to bomb themselves if they want to define Netanyahu with that definition of anti-Semiticism,” he added.

Beinart argued on his side that the Palestinians “behaved like Gandhi” by taking part in a “overwhelmingly non-violent” march in Gaza seven years ago, and that the US supports Israel’s closing peaceful protests.

“When they do non-violent boycotts, we criminalize boycotts. When they go to the International Criminal Court, we sanction the International Criminal Court,” he added, referring to the anti-Israel boycotts, sale and sanctions (BDS) movement and President Donald. Beinart appeared to hint at Hamas’ October 7th terrorist attack.

“We essentially send a message to Palestinians that non-violent protest, ethical protest resistance will not work. It’s about facilitating the crime Hamas committed on October 7th,” he said.
