Joshua’s 2025 plan: Wait for rage and explore other enemies
Anthony Joshua is training hard to prepare herself to return to the ring in 2025. We are waiting for Tyson Fury to announce that he will be coming out of retirement.
Fury Watch
Promoter Eddie Hearn says Fury is what they want, but they are also interested in a rematch with IBF champion Daniel Dubois. Joshua, 35, wants to revenge on DuBois’ fifth defeat from last summer on September 21st. They fought in front of a large crowd at Wembley Stadium in London. Losing in front of all these fans was disappointing as AJ disappointed them.
If Fury doesn’t leave immediately, Joshua will have to decide whether he will continue to wait or be busy fighting one of the top candidates. Deontay Wilder is another man who is interested in Hearn’s fight against Joshua. Andy Lewis Jr. is interested in a trilogy with Joshua, a battle that attracts a lot of attention.
Joshua’s options
– Daniel Dubois
– Tyson Fury
– Andy Lewis Jr.
– Deontay Wilder
– Derek Chisola
– Dillian White
– Martin Bacoll
Hearn didn’t sound like Joshua wasn’t excited to fight Bakol. Bakol is not well known to casual boxing fans, so he may feel that the fight won’t be sold to the British market. It’s also a dangerous fight for Joshua, as Joshua has four knockdowns and five rounds of KO losses to DuBois. Fighting a dangerous puncher like Bakol in his first fight back sounds like a bad idea.
39-year-old Wilder is also a dangerous fight, and he may be in more trouble at this stage of his career than he is worthy of. In the game, the battle between Joshua and Deontay is too late for it to be worth pursuing.
