MLB All-Star Game The votes have been completed and the starters have been announced for this year’s game in Atlanta.
Two MVP Award winners, Shohei ohtani Judge Aaronafter winning fan votes, he was named captain of the National League and the American League, respectively.
But these two and a few others were options from fans, but this year there are other appropriate players in the mix.

In the American League, Detroit Tigerswho owns the best record in MLB at 54-32 on Wednesday, has three representatives in the starting lineup. Second baseman Gleyber Torres, a former teammate of the New York Yankees judge, made his first year at Motor City.
Riley Green joined the judge in the outfield along with Javier Baes, one of the best stories in MLB this season since joining the Tigers in 2022.
The Seattle Mariners then sluggish catcher Cal Rayleigh and start behind the plates of the American League. He has 33 homers in 84 games and the 5.6 war is second to judges of the year.
Not only is this his first All-Star selection as a starter, but Laurie is the first Mariners catcher to be selected to start.

Jacob Wilson’s meteor rise for track and field won a starting shortstop job at Atlanta’s Triest Park on July 15th. He has a batting average of .339 to enter Wednesday and will be second to judge in the American League. Orioles’ Ryan O’Hearn has also won the first All-Star bid ever.
The rest of the American League starters are Vladimir Guerrero Jr. (first base) of the Blue Jays. Cleveland Guardians‘Jose Ramirez (3 base).
In the National League, Chicago Cubs Phenome Center fielder Pete Crow Armstrong gets his first All-Star nod after stealing 25 bases and hitting 21 home runs before the break.
And while that’s not his first All-Star appearance, it took a long time for New York Mets shortstop Francisco Lindor. He hasn’t played in the game since his days in Cleveland in 2019.

The Dodgers also have multiple starters behind Otani, with Freddie Freeman playing the Bass and Will Smith catching it.
The remaining National League starters are Marte (2B) of the Arizona Diamondbacks, Manny Machado of the San Diego Padres (3B), Ronald Acknya Jr. (OF) of the Atlanta Braves and Kyle Tucker of the Cubs (OF).
