Judge blocks access to the Ministry of Finance records of Musk Team


There were no immediate comments from the White House, President Donald Trump or Musk.

The Democratic Attorney General sued Trump, the Treasury Department and Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent on Friday.

An Engelmayer order issued early Saturday said the state would face “irreparable” harm without immediate relief.

“This is due to the increased risk that new policies present sensitive and confidential disclosures and that the system in question becomes more vulnerable than hacking,” the order reads.

The order will prevent the defendant from granting access to Treasury records that can be personally identifiable or sensitive to special government officials, political appointees and other employees from outside the department. .

The injunction restricted someone else from accessing non-civil servant records that must do so for work with the Department of Finance Services and passed a background check.

The judge also ordered one among those who were restricted to immediately destroying copies of records.

The terms will take effect on February 14th until the next court hearing.
