Judge denies Blake’s active access to Justin Bardoni’s phone record in the “It’s finished with us” case


The judge shuts down Blake Lively’s “overly intrusive” request For Justin Bardoni’s phone record in a heated legal battle.

Lively’s Legal Team I summoned a phone record Bardoni and others involved in a courtroom showdown against a suspected conspiracy to ruin the actress’s reputation. However, Judge Lewis Liman partially denied the actress’s request in an order filed Friday and obtained by Fox News Digital.

“The court has stopped Mr. Lively’s terrible attempt to infiltrate the privacy of his client,” Bardoni’s lawyer, Brian Friedman, told Fox News Digital in a statement. “This is a big victory. While a vibrant political party may try to spin this decision, the court saw their efforts in what they really are. A hopeless fishing expedition intended to save their denied claims after they have already rescued the reputation of our clients in the New York Times.”

Liman specifically denied Lively’s request for Bardoni’s records, but gave her the option of the “Gossip Girl” star to summon records from the “non-parties.”

“This request includes legitimate privacy interests,” the federal judge wrote. “Lively narrowed down her request to rule out calls and messages, but the phone record itself still contains sensitive information about what doctors, psychologists, or acquaintances they may have at the time the wayfarer parties spoke.”

However, Lively can request phone records of others who may be involved in the alleged Smear Campaign.

“Vibration may make discovery requests tailored to those individuals,” Liman pointed out. “She is permitted to use the discovery tools to identify contact information or phone numbers for those individuals. Even assuming that additional individuals have joined the campaign, she hopes that the discovery will post information about such participants will not justify the wide range of subpoena.”

He added, “The parties to the Wayfarer may assert privacy interests in their phone records, but do not provide any basis for claiming non-party parties’ interest in communications.”

The Lively team revealed that they are sending requests “directly” following Liman’s orders.

“What is Brian Friedman hiding? After committing to release all the “receipts,” Friedman met the courtroom and kept the phone records of Bardoni, Heath, Sarowitz, Nathan, Wallace and Abel kept secret.

“So instead of getting these records from the telephone office the way we first requested, the judge decided that if we simply send out a more specific request, we could get the records we are seeking. Today, we are looking forward to submitting those requests directly to the defendant and looking at the records.”

“Lively has begun discoveries exposing the people, tactics and methods that have worked to “destroy” and “bury” her reputation and her family over the past year,” Lively lawyers Mike Gottlieb and Esra Hudson told Fox News Digital in a statement at the time.

“We will, of course, receive all of our “receipts” that we don’t find anywhere on Mr. Friedman’s website.

December, Active detailed allegations of sexual harassmentretaliation, intentional distress of emotional distress, negligence and other Bardoni and film producer Jamie Heath first filed with the California Civil Rights Office and later in a complaint filed in federal court.

In his own lawsuit filed in January, Bardoni alleged that Lively “mistakefully” accused him of trying to repair her reputation amid fallout around the film’s press tour after the actress took control of the film. Bardoni Legal Team Lively claimed that she had no evidence of a deliberate smear campaign and instead worked to repair her reputation by blaming actors and sexual harassment.

In the revised complaint, Lively argued that two additional female cast members were willing to testify at the scheduled 2026 trial. However, Bardoni’s lawyers denounced the new version of the lawsuit as “basic hearsay.”
