Kambosos Jr. blames Richardson Hitchins for 4,000 unsold tickets at the theatre at MSG event
George Cambosos Jr. rattled IBF Light Welterweight Champion Richardson Hitchens face-to-face today at the top of New York’s Empire State Building to promote their fight on Saturday, June 14th. Kambosos Jr. (22-3, 10 Kos) told Hitchins (19-0, 7 Kos) he hopes he will make it. “Run for that“I’m not standing on Saturday and fighting.

Kambosos condemns ticket sales
The Hitchens spent a lot of time trying to encourage Cambosos to win a $50,000 side bet. It’s unclear whether Richardson’s wallet is too small and requires extra money. He’s clearly not a big name, but in the way he’s pushing, it came across hopelessly in search of extra fabric.
Unsold tickets: MSG disaster?
Note: Cambosos today revealed that there are still 4,000 unsold tickets for an event at the theatre at Madison Square Garden in New York City. The venue seats 5,600. If these numbers are accurate, it becomes a disaster. Cambossos is from New York, so he appears to be blaming it at Hitchens, and should be able to sell more tickets than 1,600.
Richardson Hitchens: “I’m going to knock you out.”
George Cambosos: “You’re going to run for it.”
Hitchens: “From you? I don’t have a chin. You were down with body shots and head shots. I’ve never fell in my boxing life.”
Cambosos: “Your breath will be insufficient.”
Hitchens: “I’m going to break your face, buddy. I’m going to break your face.”
Kambosos: “New York is my hometown. You are not Lomachenko. You look scared and skinned. You hold me. You run.”
Hitchens: “You’ll get your son hurt. You’d better stop the fight. If you love your son, you’ll stop it.”
Kambosos: “I have 4,000 tickets left. What happened to your belt? I want a new belt. It reminds you. Garbage.”
Hitchens: “Liam Paro is a better fighter than you. I’m going to smoke you.”
