Keyshawn Davis ‘”Galaxy” Journey after Berinchyk?

Director Bernie Tar Boxer predicts Keyshaun Davis will be “Another galaxy” After he defeated WBO Lightweight champion Denys Berinchyk in a headliner at the Madison Square Garden Theatre in New York City on Friday night.

Bernie believes Keyshaun (12-0, 8 Kos) will become the star of this fight, and he feels that a unified match with Gervonta Davis is not necessary. It is the man he was talking about through promotions for the fight against Belinchik (19-0, 9 Kos), and refers to him more than the man before him.

Maybe Keyshaun can go to HD1 Galaxy13.5 billion light years away, and find the perfect opponent to turn him into a true star. It’s not happening here as his limited time remains at 135.

Perhaps Keyshawn will make two or three title defenses if he’s lucky, before being forced to move to 140 or 147 after failing to gain weight while being lighter. Fans want to watch Tank Davis as he is exciting to watch, gets knockouts and his fight brings drama. He is not piloted like Keyshaun. Avoiding the guy who beats him four times, Andy Cruz, and most of the time bored. The only battle that was enjoyable in Keyshawn’s 12-match career was his inconsistency against Gustavo Lemos. The man slowly became a hit and was defeated by Richardson Hitchens.

Keyshaun’s recent opponents, Gustavo Lemos, Miguel Madueno, Jose Pedraza and Nahil Albright, were not the fighters who brought “business.” Those weren’t major battles either. They also didn’t beat Keyshaun four times in the amateur.

“His (Andicrus) overall identity is based on Keyshaun. Everyone talking about him and Keyshaun. He never beat Keyshaun. He beat Keyshaun. That’s all. Everything he’s doing is off his court sale,” Bernie said.
