U.S. Labor Secretary Lori Chavez Deremar responds to a positive April employment report and breaks down where American careers are booming.
As Labor Secretary Lori Chavez Deremar claims this marks the beginning of a new golden age, the Trump administration reportedly feels better after an April employment report that was better than expected.
“President Trump is at the helm and I’m telling you, he’s told you over and over again that the golden age is coming for the American people. I’ll tell you, the golden age is here,” the secretary said. “Varney & Co.” Friday.
“This is another great employment report, exactly what the market expected, and I couldn’t be honored to serve under the President with these employment numbers,” added Chavez Deremar. “And now, we’re going to keep pounding the pavement while I continue on the road, and these numbers keep rising.”
The Ministry of Labor reported its employer on Friday. We added 177,000 jobs in April. That figure exceeded the Economist estimates voted by the LSEG, but was cooler than the 185,000 added in March. This was initially announced as a profit of 228,000.

The unemployment rate was 4.2%, which had not been changed for a month and was in line with the LSEG estimates.

Government salaries added 10,000 jobs to all levels of government in April. The decline in federal employment of 9,000 was offset by the profits of 6,000 in the state and 13,000 in local governments.
Healthcare employment also saw significant boosts Manufacturing salaries have decreased Employment of 1,000 people.

“People want civil servants and civil servants to be close to them, and this is exactly that trend we see,” Chavez Deremar said.
Despite negative production numbers, the Labor Secretary pointed out that she was not disappointed or disappointed.
