Leeds is considering dismissing Daniel Fark despite promotion

Leeds United are ringing their new manager just two days after Daniel Fark returned to the Premier League.

Email 49ers Enterprises, the US-based owner of the West Yorkshire Club, reports that it has reserved on Germany’s ability to lead the club on top flights.

That view is based on Fark’s previous records with Norwich City. Fark led Canary to the Premier League twice, but accumulated just 26 points from 49 games over a season and a half.

However, he appears to have mastered the championship, but Leeds secures the promotion with Stoke City’s 6-0 bang On Elland Road on Easter on Monday.

It was Fark’s third championship promotion in his career.

For Leeds, efforts are now underway

It was definitely the easiest bit for Leeds. Leeds is the second highest crowd in the second tier.

They are not helped by profit and sustainability rules that take into account the decline in club revenue from two years of non-top division stints.

Leeds continues to hold several well-paid players, so despite being essential for teams to compete, they may have to sell before they can buy.

Fark retained the support of Leeds’ fanbase, with Burnley ahead of Sheffield United to secure a top two spot, which was a three-horse race for the majority of the season.

The 48-year-old is a popular figure in the dressing room, and his departure story is likely to disappoint his players.

After the Stoke game, Farke said: “It’s truly amazing to offer such an emphasis performance, and all credits go to the boys for the way they dealt with the situation and spirit they’ve shown in recent weeks.”

Will Bielsa be back?

If he is fired, it is unlikely that an aspiring candidate will advance his name.

The return of former hero Marcelo Bielsa, who is now in charge of the Uruguay national team, will appease those disappointed by Fark’s exit, whilst Steve Cooper, Gary O’Neill and Sean Dutch all have compelling Premier League experiences.
