Lennox Lewis vs Dubois. USYK Rematch: Daniel Dubois “Not the same fighter”

Lennox Lewis believes IBF heavyweight champion Daniel Dubois will win against three-belt champion Olexandre Usaik, who was unified in a rematch on Saturday night at Wembley. Lewis says DuBois (22-2, 21 Kos) is not the “same fighter” he was in when Usyk knocked him out in the ninth round of 2023.

Usyk-dubois 2 appears I live in Dazen This Saturday, July 19th. The price is $59.99. The event will start at 12:30pm on the main card (ET/9:30pm).

Lewis supports the “new” Dubois

Lennox says DuBois “proves” with his final three victories over Anthony Joshua, Philip Fulgovic and Jarrell Miller. He says, “I know he’s ready.”

Fans see DuBois as protected, exaggerated and mentally weak. The way Daniel clings to the low-stroke story and claims he was taken away from his victory over Usaku in 2023 is considered totally pathetic. Dubois was completely covered in that fight and was attended school by Oak Kundr to the point where he left one knee in the ninth.

“This fight will be another fight. Daniel Dubois will be the same fighter you saw 18 months ago. He’s Prime, he’s ready and I’m looking forward to this fight,” Lennox Lewis told Ring Magazine. YouTube The channel discusses this Saturday rematch between Daniel Dubois and Olexandre Usaik.

Dubois: Same fighter, no evolution

How is this battle different from before? DuBois is the same fighter, but is slow, heavy, and carries 15 pounds more weight than his first fight with the USYK. He has not evolved as a fighter in the last three battles. DuBois, 27, is the same basic slugger who lacks a ring IQ.

On the battlefield, Daniel loses his mind and shows that he will go to the fragments mentally when things are against him. Instead of thrustting it all the way to the end, he gives up, surrenders, and takes the easy way. He did it the last time he fought Usyk, and the only reason he didn’t do it against anyone is because his opposition has been mediocre ever since.

Lennox’s Blind Dubois Faith

“He’s proven himself In his final three fights he is ready for this fight. I actually know he’s ready for this fight,” Lewis continued of DuBois. This is what he wants. The path to indisputable people. This is that. He was previously (at the doorway). He wants to cross the bridge this time,” Lewis said.

What does Lennox do? DuBois has not proven himself. That’s the overall problem. If DuBois had proven himself, he would have beaten talent like Agit Kabaiel, Moses Itauma, Joseph Parker, Richard Torres Jr. and Bahodil Jalarov.

He beat these soft enemies:

  • Anthony Joshua: A former washed-out champion who was carefully piloted by his promoter throughout his professional career. When I saw him approaching in 2017 when he was defeated by 39-year-old Vladimir Klitschko, he was never good, so he was knocked out by Andy Lewis.
  • Philip hrgovic: A basic sturdy hitter with poor stamina and no solid victory on his resume. This was another exaggerated, carefully matched fighter.
  • Jarrell Miller: Another elderly fighter. The 36-year-old “Big Baby” Miller is a fringe-level candidate who has done nothing in his career and has never beaten a top fighter.
