Leonard Lauder, chairman of Esthera Lauder, died at 92.

Loader was the son of the company Founder Estee Lauder, He passed away on Saturday. He recently served as president and CEO before serving as honorary chairman on the board of directors of Esterolader Company.
“Throughout his life, my father has worked tirelessly to build and transform the beauty industry, pioneering the innovation, trends and best practices that underlie today’s industry,” William P. Lauder said in a statement.
“More than anything, my father was the man who practiced kindness with everyone he met. His influence was enormous.”

Lauder served as president of Estée Lauder Companies from 1972 to 1995, and later became CEO in 1982. He held that position until 1999.
In a statement, the company said Loader “has developed and implemented innovative sales and marketing programs that consistently challenged the status quo and revolutionized the beauty industry.”
“He set up the company’s first R&D lab, bringing professional management at all levels, and was the driving force behind the international expansion of the esthetic loader company, helping to increase the company’s sales and profits exponentially,” the statement said.
Stephen Dela Fabery, current CEO of Estee Lauder, lamented the loss in a statement, saying that Lauder was “loved by many and ridiculously overlooked.”

“His energy and vision will help shape our company and will continue to do so for generations,” he added. “I feel privileged to work with Leonard, the best mentor I’ve ever dreamed of learning. He’s remembered by all of us.”
His mother, Estee Lauder, I established a company In 1946, she with her husband Joseph. The company owns several iconic beauty brands, including Tom Ford Beauty, Clinique and Jo Malone London.
During his tenure at the company, Lauder “led the launch of many brands, including Aramis, Clinique and Lab series,” his company said.

“Up to his death, he remained deeply involved in the company’s acquisition strategy, including the acquisitions of Aveda, Bobbi Brown, Jo Malone London, La Mer and M∙A∙C,” the statement added.
