Twin icon Joe Mauer “excited” in the American century and admits that he needs more work in golf games

“I get excited every year. I try it every year. These guys get more and more beat hits, but that’s the highlight. It’s definitely a summer highlight,” Sorenstam said. “That time, the tournament, the atmosphere, everything about it, the players, it’s a really cool event. So, since I have family and friends, there are so many reasons to like it.”

Mardy Fish, Stephen Curry, Tony Romo and Vinny Del Negro are some of the tournament’s latest winners.

Sorenstam said it was “surprising” how good it is that some athletes who are not professional golfers are in the game.

“Well, you know, a lot of them are half my age, twice my size. They’re great athletes. “But at first, oh, it seemed you know. But it’s amazing how good they are. They play far more than I do. They’re not always straight up so far, but a lot of them do.”

“In the end, that can be very exciting, but to put pressure on me, I always say to my husband, ‘I don’t think you can start filming a 3-pointer by throwing me on the microphone, or a soccer field or a basketball court.” I think they’re great. ”
