Listen to Luxury: Hermes launches $15,000 headphones this summer
Hand-sewn leather. Metallic finish. A sophisticated design. Five digit price tag. No, we’re not talking about cars, but it costs almost.
Paris-based luxury brand Hermes is launching its first headphones this summer – they’ve already Available in Holland – And if you have to ask for the prices, you may not be able to afford them. They’re $15,000. No, they’re not solid money.
Hermès Bespoke Division Ateliers Horizons DesignIt features hand-sewn cow string leather, and comes in colors such as Naturel (dark beige), black, chocolate, Rouge H (deep red), and Prussian blue.
Hermes headphones are not yet sold on the US store website, but they are available on the Dutch site.
Representatives from Hermes did not immediately respond to requests for comment.
There’s no word on when headphones will be sold in the US.
This is a unique and expensive product we are used to seeing from Hermes, selling famous and equally expensive Birkin tote bags. Birkin was first introduced in 1984 for $2,000, Currently on sale for over $13,000.

Hermès’ new headphones are one of the latest releases from Ateliers Horizons. Designer Axel de Beaufort and his roughly 50 teams have previously produced audio products such as jukeboxes, vertical turntable boom boxes and mahogany DJ tables with lacquer.
