Live stream with Fort Knox Gold? Elon Musk says it’s “it’s amazing.”

Tesla CEO and Head of Government Efficiency (DOGE) Elon Musk On Sunday he expressed his support for establishing a live stream of Fort Knox and its gold reserves.
Answering questions about checking out Kim Musks at Fort Knox, the billionaire said he thought “it would be great for the Fort Knox live stream.”
Fort Knox’s US Bullion Deposit Agency is one of several locations across the country maintained by the US government Gold reserves. It is located in Kentucky.

“I mean, it’s going to be really fun. And at the end of the day, it’s actually American money, so it seems Americans have a right to see their money,” he said.
“Hopefully it looks really cool. Open a door like, ‘Is it there? Is it really money? Let’s check it out.’ Maybe it’s really interesting,” he continued.

Musk said he was “everything.” President Donald Trump “He says he’s interested in doing that, so hopefully it’s going to happen.”
The theory of conspiracy regarding the gold situation in Fort Knox has been ramping on social media, and Musk and Trump have also speculated whether bullion exists in very secure depositories and say they need to confirm.
Trump confirms that Fort Knox Gold is there as the Treasury says it is
“Who is confirming that the money wasn’t stolen from Fort Knox?” Doge Head wrote on social media in mid-February, speculating, “Maybe it’s there, maybe not.”
Musk has been squeezing Knoxfort Knox live streams several times in recent weeks.
For example, in mid-February, he said at X, “It’s really cool to do a live video walkthrough for Fort Knox.” He also said that “Fort Knox’s live broadcasts are “will” two Firegis.
Both current and former Treasury secretaries say the gold is in Fort Knox.
Treasury Secretary Scott Bescent said In an interview in February With journalist Dan O’Donnell, “We do audits annually, so in the audits that ended September 30, 2024, all the money exists and is explained.”

In August 2017, Stephen Munichin, the secretary of Treasury in Trump’s first administration, traveled to Fort Knox, according to the US Mint website. With then-Kentucky Governor Matt Bevin Members of the council I accompanied him.
“When I visited, the money was there. I hope no one will move. I’m sure they haven’t.” He told CNBC last month. “I was the first Treasury Secretary to go there for over 50 years. Fort Knox has 147.3 million Fintro Ounce gold bullion, according to data released as follows: Ministry of Finance Late February.
How much gold reserve does the US hold?
It represents a “book value” of $6.2 billion. However, based on the price of precious metals as of Tuesday, Fort Knox gold is worth more than $459.2 billion.
The US Mint said on a webpage dedicated to the US bullion depository in Fort Knox that “only the gold removed is a very small amount to test the purity of the gold during a periodic scheduled audit.”
Overall, the US Treasury has 261.5 million ounces of gold bullion and gold coins in late February, with gold coins “where various US Treasury departments were maintained.”
