The birthday may have to have better in the ring, but there is more admiration that a star player can achieve if he continues his dominant year. He’s shy of 30 yards to break an NFL season rushing record, including postseason numbers. Barkley lacks the 2,476-yard Terrell Davis mark set for the Denver Broncos in 1998.
Berkley made it clear that everything about reaching the Super Bowl is great, but the goal was to win the game.
