Man arrested after a “serious incident” in northern Dublin

Irish police said the man was arrested after a “serious incident” in northern Dublin.

PA News reports that it is believed he was stabbed during the incident.

The man was arrested Sunday in the city’s Stony Batter area and is currently in custody at the police station.

Police remained at the scene, but said “there is no continuing risk for the general public at this time.”
