Manchester United “have to improve,” says midfielder Ugarte.

Manuel Ugarte, a midfielder at Manchester United, says the club knows they have to improve this season under manager Reuben Amorim.

Former sports boss Amorim took charge of United last November, but won just seven wins in 27 league matches, leading him to the worst Premier League finish ever.

United failed to qualify for the Champions League as they lost the Europa League final 1-0 to Tottenham Hotspur and took 15th place in the Premier League.

“We have to improve things,” Ugarte told the British media.

“We’re all very motivated. We believe in our coaches, so we believe in what he wants, and that’s very important,” added the Uruguayan, who played under Amorim in the sport.

“We made some changes last year: we changed coaches and changed formations.

“When you play for United, you have to be responsible. Sometimes connections take time to get to know each other. I already know the league, the rivals.

Amorim has made some big signs this summer Masteus Cunya the Wolf Brian Mbemo of Brentford.

United will play two preseason games in the US, facing Bournemouth in Chicago on Wednesday, then against Everton in Atlanta on Sunday, then against Fiorentina at Old Trafford on August 9th.

They will begin their new Premier League season with Arsenal on August 17th.
