Maresca, Felix Exit, Nkank’s future regarding Jackson and Giu’s injuries

Enzo Maresca says he is happy with Chelsea’s January transfer window despite injuries to strikers Nicholas Jackson and Mark Giu.

Both strikers dropped out on Monday in a 2-1 win over the Blues West Ham, but Jackson is not considered serious, but Deputy Giu was ready for a long layoff with Maresca. It looks well-suited.

Jackson will also miss the FA Cup match against Brighton on Saturday, due to hamstring issues.

“After the West Ham game, what we planned from the perspective of the desire to leave and the players we needed, said what we planned,” Maresca said.

“In the end, I think we did everything we needed to do. Before the final game we had two strikers, Nico and Mark.

“We sometimes adapt Cristo (nkunku) there, but if both of them are out, we will find another solution.”

Felix AC Milan makes “good” moves for players

Chelsea sold six players during the winter window. Joan Felix, Ben Chilwell, Axel Disassi, Renato Beiga, Chesare Casadey and Carney Chukwemeka were all able to leave.

Midfielder Mattis Amoogo; 19, the only new signature at the club from St. Etienne.

At Felix’s exit, Maresca added:

“To be honest, he never complained, he was very good with us, professional, and it was a matter of my decision.

“The reason is because I think there’s a defensive balance. And sometimes when you have so many attacking players, you can accept transitions and goals. I don’t like that. there is no.”

nkunku Future after United Rink

Maresca also said Christopher Nukank, who was linked to the January move to Manchester United, would get more minutes.

“Yes, certainly, certainly,” he added. “We already talked about Cristo last week.

“He’s already played more or less 30 minutes against West Ham. I hope he gets more minutes and helps out from now on.”
