Mario Barrios vows to regret 46-year-old Manny Pacquiao

Mario Barrios predicts that Pacquiao’s senior age will tire him if the fight gets longer on Saturday night. WBC welterweight champion Barrios (29-2-1, 18 KOs) predicts that 46-year-old Pacquiao will “remorse” that he eventually came out of retirement.

Barrios is ready to take control of Superstar Pacquiao (62-8-2, 39 KOs) in the 12th round main event at MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Saturday, July 19th. Their fight is part of the events that appear in the PBC Prime Video PPV.

Barrios: Pacquiao regrets his comeback

“The longer the fight (the more Pacquiao feels it), and my job is to go there and make him feel like an old man. Fighting Hub TVI’ll talk about Manny Pacquiao.

Barrios creates a good point. Pacquiao wears on the longer the fight due to his age and inactivity. He had already shown stamina issues in his final battle with Jordenis Ugas four years ago. It’s going to get worse now. If this is really about Pacquiao trying to win a world title, he waited enough time to get out of retirement. He should have come back earlier to give him a better chance.

Why is Pacquiao back?

“Let him ask a question.”Why did I come back for this? ” As the round progresses, it gives me favour. Manny is known for being a fast starter,” Barrios said. “From the first bell, he’s swinging. We know he’s in a close quarter, especially at his speed.”

Pacquiao says he’s not making this fight for the money, but his reported $12.6 million wallet must serve as a factor in why he’s coming back. He may regret coming out of retirement, but the big wallet he is receiving will be a great relief for his hurt feelings. For the money, Pacquiao chose a good time to get out of retirement.

Counterpate Pacquiao’s speed

“I think the best way to counter speed is timing, and I have it in my physical attributes, especially with Manny. My job is to go out there and try to neutralize what he’s trying to do early.

The 6’0” Barrio has a larger size advantage over the 5’5 1/2 inch Pacquiao in this fight. Barrios’ height, reach and youth advantage make it difficult for Manny to deal with in this fight. The last time Pacquiao fought someone of the same height was when he faced Jesse Vargas in 2016.
