Mask dog members resign after reporting racist posts

“Just for the record, I was racist before I was cool,” read one post from my pseudonym account in July.

An account connected to Mr. Elez – first reported by the Wall Street Journal – has posted various yakiconter comments that have been verified as authentic by the BBC.

“You could not pay me to marry outside of my ethnicity,” the account’s post said in September.

“Normalizes hatred in India,” another post said that month.

All posts have since been deleted.

As of Friday morning, more than 385,000 people appear to be taking part in a mask poll about Erez’s rehiring, but they didn’t mention him by name.

So far, 78% have voted in favor of his return.

When Musk responded to one user who said that he should give a speech with Mr. Erez and “about racist,” the billionaire replied: “Really.”

Vice President JD Vance said Tuesday, “I’m against some of Elez’s posts, but… I don’t think stupid social media activities should ruin a child’s life.”

“So I say I’ll bring him back,” he added.

Erez’s resignation emerged as a dominant force early in his second term amid growing scrutiny of Doge, a cost-cutting advisory group founded by Trump.

Musk and his team have led a dizzying effort to significantly reduce the size of the federal government.

On Thursday, a US judge halted plans to cast obstacles on one of these initiatives and provide incentives to millions of federal workers voluntarily resigning this month.

Musk has also supported efforts to dismantle USAID, the government agency responsible for international development. All but a small number of key staff from a workforce of around 10,000 will take administrative leave in the middle of the night on Friday, including thousands of people overseas.
