Masters officials punish Min Wooly for ball movement

Lee was hit by a one-stroke penalty after authorities said he had moved his ball on the fairway. After realising the ball was moving, Lee asked for an official and decided that “his actions near the ball made it move.” Augusta National.

He carded 77 for the round and placed him towards the back of the pack along with Justin Thomas, JJ Spawn and Akshay Batia for the tournament.

The 26-year-old Australian took part in a tournament that won an impressive victory at the Texas Children’s Houston Open late last month. He finished one stroke with a 20 under par, before Scotty Schaeffler and Gary Woodland.

He won three on the European Tour, two on the Australian PGA Tour and one on the Asia Tour.

He would have needed a miracle to return to the fight.

Final Round We’ll see Bryson Deccanbeau, Rory McIlroy and Corey Connors fight it on Sunday. McIlroy was 12 under par and DeChambeau was 10 under, teeing off at 2:30pm ET. The Connors are 8 under par and are set to tee off at 2:20pm ET.

Last year’s winner Schaeffler was 5 under par and finished sixth.
