“As many people know, I’m a pretty private person. But I’m looking back at tours and festival tours, so I’d like to talk a bit about what’s going on,” he wrote in a social media caption. “In particular, I’ve struggled with some health issues and was diagnosed with Lyme disease – I don’t say you’re feeling bad for me – but to shed some light on what I’m opposed behind the scenes.”

“If you’re experiencing or know someone who has this disease, you know – you know: Living with this can be mercilessly debilitating, both mentally and physically. When I was first diagnosed, I was certainly shocked. I’m so happy that my body was feeling.”

“Not only has I proven myself mental tenacity, I have now had so many special moments with you that I will never forget. I have always been raised to maintain this kind of thing for myself, so I am trying to be more transparent about my struggles so that they are not misunderstood.”
