Despite Owen’s heroism, MI New York fought back with regular breakthroughs. Trent Boult (2/38), Naveen ul Haq (2/28) and Sunny Patel (2/37) each pick up two important wickets, consistently threatening Washington’s pursuit of freedom. After the early onslaught, Rachin Ravindra donated from 10 balls from six balls, and Andries Gous was added 10 off 10 off, with Mark Chapman in charge.
