NASCAR driver Stewart Friesen gets injured after a horrible dirt truck crash

Stewart Friesen, the driver of the NASCAR truck series, is Super Dirt Car Series Races in Canada on Monday night.
Friesen took part in the North King of the North Race at Autodrome Drummond In Quebec. He was hitting an outside wall and going into the air when he was rounding three turns on the truck.

Friesen was turned over into the air and his car was in flames as he returned to the truck. He was taken to a nearby hospital, where he was able to speak to safety staff. Super Dirtcar Series Website.
Jessica Friesen issued a statement about her husband early Tuesday morning. She said the CT scan “cleared him a head, neck, spine or spine injury. Unfortunately, he still feels an incredible amount of pain.”
“Stewart suffered from an unstable/open book pelvic fracture. That means his pelvis is broken in two or more places and hematomas in the area,” the statement read. “Stewart has a broken right leg. Both of these injuries require surgery. Stewart was moved to a larger hospital this morning for these procedures.”

Stewart Friesen is primarily a driver Truck Series. He finished 35th in Indianapolis on Friday, but this year he has earned one win and three top five finishes.

Friesen raced on the dirt track at Weed Sports Speedway on Saturday and won. It was his 52nd career victory in the Super Dirt Car Series.
