NBA News: Damien Lillard diagnosed with blood clot

The Bucks provided seven All-NBA Guard status updates without providing target dates for his potential returns. Lillard has missed the Bucks’ final three contests and has already been ruled out in Wednesday’s match in Denver.
“Damien’s health is our number one priority,” Bucks general manager John Holst said in a statement. “We’re going to support him. He goes through this weekly, strict standards process to ensure he’s safe to return to play. The doctors have shown that it’s very unlikely that his situation will happen again.
Lillard is taking blood thinning medication that stabilizes blood clots, ESPN pointed out.

Lillard is in his second season in Milwaukee after spending his first 11 seasons with the Portland Trail Blazers. He averages 24.9 points and 7.1 assists per game, comparable to his career stats.
