The newlyweds’ lives were shattered when their husband and one-year-old daughter were killed in a fiery, head-like car accident when they returned from their honeymoon.
“Macy, Hunter and Oakley were in a horrifying car accident yesterday on their way home from their honeymoon at Hat Forge,” wrote Macy’s mother, Leigh Ann Payne-Weisser, in a Facebook post.
She added that her daughter was taken to the burn squad at University of Louisville Hospital to be treated for her injuries.
“Hunter and Oakley are now with our Lord and Savior. Please lift Macy and our family in prayer,” she wrote.
