Vanessa Hernandez, known for her stage name, Neza, sang Spanish productions American national anthem At Dodger Stadium on Saturday night, she insisted that the team wanted her not to.

“I don’t know if that wasn’t broadcast,” the employee said in the video.
Netza decided to sing the Spanish version anyway, and later in a video from Tiktok, he said it was in response to the presence of US Immigration Customs Enforcement (ICE) in Los Angeles, leading to protests and uncertainty in the city.
“I never thought I’d meet any kind of no,” Netza said. I said in her video. “Especially because we’re in LA and everything’s going on. I’ve sang the national anthem many times in my life, but today I couldn’t.
“I felt like I needed to do that. Parami Gate (for my people).”

Fox News Digital reached out to the Dodgers for comment.
The team also has not issued an official statement about the protests that have been held in Los Angeles last week.
Dodgers manager Dave Roberts was asked about the protest and he remained neutral.
“To be honest, I don’t know enough, I’ll be very honest with you,” he said. Athletic. “I know that when you have to bring people and send people out, it certainly is unsettling for everyone. But I’m not digging enough and can’t speak wisely about it.”

Meanwhile, one of Roberts’ players, veteran utility man Quique Hernandez, made a social media post on Saturday night before the match on the protest.
“I may have been born and raised, but this city adopted me as one of them,” Hernandez said. I wrote it on Instagram. “I am saddened and angry about what is happening in our country and our city. The Los Angeles and Dodger fans welcomed me, supported me, showed me nothing but kindness and love. This is my second home.
“All people deserve to be treated with respect, dignity and human rights. #cityofimmigrants.”
Other Los Angeles-based professional sports teams took the stance, including Angely City FC of the NWSL, who gave fans a “Immigrant City Football Club” t-shirt in Saturday’s game. Players were also seen warming up in t-shirts before the match to show support from those protesting.

The Spanish production of Neza’s national anthem came on the day of many “No Kings” protests that violated the Washington, DC military parade, which coincided with the president. Donald Trump’s Birthday, nationwide.
Trump’s birthday was also a celebration of the US Army’s 250th birthday.
